Fantastical Fact File

Give an example of something positive you’ve learned from working in IT.
I’ve had the chance to work with various world class network equipment manufactures where I gained experience with their systems. However, Information Technology is changing every day and what is actual today, might not be tomorrow. Therefore this sector is not allowing me to be stuck in one place but challenges me to go ahead with certifications and go further with personal and professional development.

What’s your favorite film in the whole world and why?
My favorite movie is Gone in 60 seconds (2000). Why? Muscle cars with supercharged engines are pure freedom and adrenalin. The cars were fabulous and the chase scene is fantastic.

Especially I like the part where Memphis explained to Kit why he was boosting cars:
”I didn’t do it for the money.
I did it for the cars.
Gleaming in marina blue…
Sunfire yellow…
Marlboro red…
begging to be plucked.
And I’d do it.
I’d boost her…
and just blast to Palm Springs…
instantly feeling better about being me.”

Also, when all is said and done, all the characters young and old have decided to live a “straight” life in peace.

What makes you laugh heartily every time and why?
Every time I watch Jeff Dunham’s show with Ahmed, Walther, Peanut or Bubba J it makes me laugh heartily. Also must mention jokes about Chuck Norris, one of my favorite is ‘’Chuck Norris won The Tour De France on stationary bike’’.

If you had a whole week out to do something you really wanted and were given £1000 gratis to do it, what would you do and why?
I would love to go to Alaska and visit the famous Richard ‘Dick’ Proenneke’s cabin at Twin Lakes. Dick lived in the wilderness alone for almost 30 years, since 1968, in the log cabin he had constructed by hand near the shore of Twin Lakes. His cabin is now registered as an historic place under U.S National Register of Historic Places.

Tell us something that you personally aim to achieve inside the next 5 years.
I aimed to achieve MSc in Cybersecurity and Forensics where I would like to be focused in my career. I want to get into a Cybersecurity Consultant role and help Grant McGregor to expand our business and provide specialized services in this sphere of IT not only for our current but also future clients.
